
Our SETSS Program
Academic Enrichment provides government-funded Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) in New York. Our certified teachers provide both push-in and pull-out instruction to students from kindergarten through high school. We take pride in raising the test scores of struggling students because academic improvement enhances each student’s self confidence. As an added benefit, out program raises the passing rates of schools as well.
We provide Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) to students with Individual Education Service Plans (IESPs) to students who struggle academically. We serve high school, middle school, and elementary school students.

TAILORED SUPPORT PROGRAMS
WHO QUALIFIES?
To be eligible for SETSS, a student must qualify for an Individual Education Service Plan (IESP), with a learning disability. In a private school setting, the student’s regular teacher can refer the parent or guardian to the relevant office of the Committee on Special Education (insert a web link?) for an evaluation by a school psychologist, speech-language pathologist, or remedial reading teacher. The student usually qualifies when the student does not achieve adequately or meet State-approved grade-level standards in one or ore areas, when provide with learning experiences and instruction appropriate for the child’s age or State-approved grade-level standards.
